light green fluid under car

I noticed a pool of light green fluid under the right front area of my car today. Any ideas what fluid this is? It's going into the shop on the 28th

First thing that came to my mind was coolant/anti-freeze.

Could be coolant, brake fluid or hydraulic fluid. Whichever it is, it isn't good news. Get it checked out.

I say anti-freeze. I had a similar issue a couple of months back but it was brown fluid leaking. It turned out to be transmission fluid. Seal was replaced.

Actually it is more than likely the dye that is put in the A/C system oil. MB a/c compressors tend to leak from the front seal of the A/C compressor which is in the front of the engine on the drivers side.

car is in the shop now

The fluid is thick, viscous, oily and will not evaporate. It Came from the front passenger side. I should have an answer tomorrow, but the consensus so far is that is came from the hydraulics.

Check your power steering fluid. It might be leaking....I recently went to the dealer after looking into the power fluid reservior and it was almost empty. Amazingly they said that they couldn't find a leak. Alien must have drank some of it, damn aliens in So.Cal. :p

Still cannot find source.....

However, they left me a nice present.. They didn't replace the undercarrige liner correctly and while traveling on the freeway, the damn thing came down like a wind scoop. Missed my flight and cost me money and time. They didn't even offer to compensate me. This isn't the first time I've had problems with quality control at Fletcher Jones Las Vegas. I'm seriously considering getting a Vantage or M6 because of the continued service incompetance. Unfortunatly, they are the only dealer in town.
