1994 Mercedes S500 W140
POWER LOSS S500 W140 kickdown cable?
I got a 1994 Mercedes S500, I had a new transmission put in and the car sat for around 6 months after because i was traveling. I started driving it again last week and the car has no power when you push the pedal to the floor......the rpms will not rev up past 2800 ......could this be the kickdown cable? Or do you know anything else that could be making this happen. The car runs fine and shifts fine, no skipping or anything. Also when you have the car in park the RPMS will rev up fine when pushing the gas. Thanks for any help
