MAE Wheels

I got a question on MAE wheels. I was wondering how heavy the MAE 1 piece wheels are. I would also like to know what you guys think of that brand. Has any of you ever used them, seen them or heard something about them? Here's the web address for the MAE wheels on the C-Class car (W203). I think they look good on the car.

Thanks for your help.

Those wheels are discontinued. There is a used set for sale on benzsport.com. Wheel Power may have some stock left, but I think its not those sizes.

The wheels are cast by OZ. They are nice and different looking, but there is a new version (type II) due out in march. It willbe available in one and 2 piece.

Thanks lee2375. I just got into looking at different wheels for my C 180 and I want good, light wheels. I read somewhere in this forum that the Carlsson 1/6 evo and the Brabus Monoblock V wheels are very heavy. That's when I started to look for other wheels. Thanks a lot for your help.

Doesn't MH-Dezent have a wheel like that?

2003 SL-500 on order
I hope MAE improved their wheel quality, because to a buddie of mine bent two 18" sets of them on his 98 C 280. Finally realizing they were not "OEM" quality, he went with Carlsson 1/6 evo 19's and never had a problem.

Yes MH Dezent does have a similar negative spoke design wheel. Dronell does also.

Not really a MAE fan. The design just looks to heavy?

Don't know about the weight, but should be better than the one piece.

True. But just look at the face design.
