Chuni,

What size are your Monoblocks (looks like 18's) and what suspension do you have? That black looks so good on that car. Nice ride.

1993 Black/Black 190e 2.6 X2
18x8 ET31 up front w/ 215 40 18 Nankan NS-II Rubber
18x9 ET35 in the rear w/ 225 40 18 Conti SportContact 2 Rubber

Brakes: 94 e420 up front (11.6 inch rotor - internally vented + Xdrilled & Slotted)
95 c6 AMG in the rear - Internally vented. They are supposed to be the same as the e420 rears, however all the parts store say the e420 rears are not internally vented. Oh well, i got what i wanted.

Painted em red with g2 caliper paint (very nice) and slapped the white amg decals on em

the decals haven't melted off/burned up?

oh- and do you have a write-up about the install? one of my biggest gripes with my 190 is the ****ty braking power.

i'm used to the heavy duty brakes from the bmw's, and i feel like i have to really mash the pedal and still think twice about if i'm stopping soon enough.

Not many mods but I do need some help from you guys. Im looking for some parts.

-Black housings
-New grill
-Trunk Lip
-Sportline emblem

Anyone know where I can get these?

The front of the car.

The doors.

Side view of paint job after Clay/Polish/Wax

Interior, Tan leather with dual power seats.

Dash, real wood.

Chrome ****ed up 15"s.

Two Point Six Liter for the win!

Cheap shot of the gauges (MPH, Temp, Oil Pressure, RPMs, Clock, Fuel).

4 Speed Automatic.

Not many mods like some of you here but I did tint the windows. Thats about it.

You guys have some really clean looking cars though!

How do I clean it then? I couldve sworn I had leather and I used a leather cleaner to clean in between the crevices and it worked.

Help me with this. I find the overlap between the W201 190E (made from 1982 to 1993???) and the E class W124 (made from 1984 to 1995???) totally confusing. I probably ownd both when they came out and was doing 30/40k miles per year and changing two yearly. The 300E photo you show looks just like an E class to me. Can you explain the history and difference a bit. Glorious cars, love the pics. keep 'em coming.

the w201 (190e) is the precurser to the c-class, not the e-class.

Thanks for that. Yes, but the 300E that O'Neill shows, is not a 201 is it?
Looks like an E class of the time to my eye. Hence my confusion.

AHA! I now have the answer from O'Neill1 himself and a new thread just for the history. Turns out his first posting here saying let's have lots of pics of 201's had a pic of his elegant 124 just to confuse the unwary like me and see who was awake.
