Exclamation 2.3-16 suspension

hello everyone

at first i would like to present myself coz i'm new here.
i'm male, 25yo from poland and it's nice to meet U all

but lets back to the case ...

i'v got problem with hydraulic suspension in my car (front and rear) and i'm wondering if i can replace them with normal suspension ( non hydraulic ) ?

coz i have to buy 4 sls accumulators and 2 shock absorbers ( one front and one rear ) and that will cost A LOT of money becouse there is no parts for that car in here ( poland )

hope that you can understand what i'm saying here :P

Welcome!
I make SLS block off plate that you will need to remove the cam-driven SLS pump. Simple remove and bolt on the plate. Then just remove the SLS shocks and replace with some shocks and springs of your liking. There are a few members on here waiting for the next set I make. they sell out fast so feel free to PM to let me know to put you on the list.

hmmm, i ask different ppls and send lot of emails to shops asking them if normal shock absorbers for example from normal 190 2.3 would match to 2.3-16, they says "NO", it must be dedicated suspension to 2.3-16 with front and rear hydraulic. is that true ?

First of all only the rear is hydraulic so this shows these shops really dont know much about these cars like nearly all shops and even the local Merc dealership never know what I am talking about. And yes 2.3 shocks would match right up. Order up some Bilstein Sports for a sporty ride, Bilstein HDs for a less sporty and more comfortable ride, or Koni adjustables for a ride that can be comfortable and then sporty with the simple turn of the little tool included to the top of the strut. If you remove the SLS you must buy different springs, as the ones on there are only useable with the SLS shocks. If you are not looking to lower the car and keep it looking original but not be sloppy in the turns with 2.3 8V springs I have just the set of rear springs for you. I have very rare and new Sportline Limited Edition rear springs. Sportline's suspensions were that of the 16Vs without the rear hydraulic suspension, so they will keep it at factory height, handle like a brand new SLS set-up, and will still refrain from the harshness/ lowering of aftermarket springs. I also have the front pair of sportline springs but they aren't new like the rears. If you are interested message me and let me know.

replace them with normal shocks and struts and you need to replace the springs, the hydraulic springs are much softer.

Hello,
Im new here on tis forum. I recently acquired an absolute beauty Loaded Euro Spec 2.3-16 with 32k original miles on a manual in blue-black metallic paint THAT IS LOWERED!

I have to bring it back to the original clearance which is low enough to my taste and already ordered a set of new rear springs from MB.
BUT front springs are not available and no longer in stock, what a BUMMER!

I really need help in truing to acquire a set of OEM front springs for it.

I was told by a rep in Classic Center that there are heavy and light duty springs for the front depending on a tranny. I would like to get springs from a manual car.
SPRINGS MUST BE OEM. I will not put aftermarket on it.
And if someone interested in the set that is installed now i will give it away for free after i remove it from the car.

ANY Suggestions and help are appreciated.
