2.3 8v Timing-Valve Question

Hey Fellas,

I posted this on 190Rev, http://190rev.net/forums/showthread.php?t=41048 thought I ask here as well:

Just recently had my Cylinder Head serviced but due to my ignorance, I did not know the machine shop needed to remove the Cam Shaft causing me to re-assmemble it myself. My fear was how the original orientation was as far as the which valves were partially open. As I recall the two center valves were partially open. I turned the Shaft off the car several times and positioned the TDC mark where it was prior to service.

Can anyone verify if I did this correctly, please ???

I marked the chain and sprocket when I removed it and after assembly of the Cam Shaft, it went back together the same. Wooddrift Key would not allow any deviation, so #3 intake and #2 exhaust is open:

TDC/#1:

#3:

#4:

#2:

Verifed postions by Rotor on Dizzy and at TDC mark on Crank.

TIA!

Jim
