190E problems today in snow
Hello MBWorld,
Im the owner of a 190E 1,8 manual from 1992, a beauty cosmetic aswell as engine wise. Ive had it for 6 months without any problems at all. 240.000 on the clock with full services. I replaced oil, oil filter, airfiltes, gas filter, spark plugs and exhaust two weeks ago.
Today a snow storm arrived in Denmark, and that resulted in a ABS blinking sign in my dashboard. After driving down a hill slowly my engine turned off, but it started right away again. After I started the engine the car drove smooth all the way to work, besides my speedometer now doesn't work. I've checked the belts for the generator and such, because I thought they might could have been broken, so the battery has ran out for power, but not the case.
My dad says it is because of the weather and maybe frozen wires, but I just wanted your opinion, because I simply love my car.
Thanks, I appreciate your help
