Upper timing chain cover gasket leak
I've been reading about all kinds of oil leaks and horror stories about blown head gaskets, but I'm pretty sure that my oil leak is coming directly from the left side of this upper cover. Can anyone comment on the gaskets used and how punky they get? Thanks.

I think you answered your own question---if your gasket is leaking---mine is not---If I were you, I would change yours, however I would not change mine!!

What same experience---most logical folks will see something leaking and say either let it leak or fix the leak-----lets say your toilet won't flush---I guess you would say well lets ask a few more people on what their experience is with crap in and or out of the bowl before we rush to judgement-----Me I just prefer not to have carp all over the floor--it's a ***** on the help!!
