1986 MB 190e 2.3-16 SLS questions.
My 190e 2.3-16 still has the oe SLS system. If I dont drive the car for a few days, the rear sits down and the sls resorvoir will fill up with the hydraulic fluid. When I start the car, it may or may not refill the system and make the rear sit back up to proper ride height. My question is has the pump failed or has the load proportioning valve failed? Once the rear has sat down, its a hit or miss getting it to sit back up. Thanks.

Way late...sorry...it was the SLS accumulators that had failed, they both were bad.
...the internal diaphragms rip, usually its age related. They are easy to replace in the garage with regular tools.
