Could this Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.5-16 Evolution really be the perfect alternative to the E30 M3?

I'm considering car for some track days...... how is the stock steering rack ratio, and stock brakes, stock suspension for some DE's....... will these things need to be upgraded to have some fun at the track?
