HELP... Gas leak under the car!!!
I have my car in storage and starting it from time to time..Today I noticed I had dripping gas underneath the car while running. Nothing from the gas tank but smack dab right underneath the middle of the two back seats in front of the rear tires....
ANY thoughts...
Thanks

I've noticed a bit of fuel leak when I over fill the tank too much. Looks like pressure can build up in the tank and can leak from the bottom somewhere. Mine just went away. Hasn't leaked or smelled since.
Open the fuel cap and let it release pressure. Stop filling your fuel when the auto shut off on the gas station stops. If the smell and leaking continues I would take it to the dealer immediately.
The Fuel filter is closer to the middle, could be leaking from there?

Be very careful, about running the engine. The fuel could ignite by the exhaust system.
It sounds like the vent is leaking? Do not overfill.
If it is the high pressure line, to the engine, fix immediately.

Some one else tolled me it could be the fuel filter. I see that your responses were to fix it immediately. I am not driving it just starting it up from time to time.
It is -15 C in the area and crap everywhere on the road. If i am not driving it and I am planning to run it for 10 minutes a few more times before March..
U guys/gals think I can hold off till then.?????? It is dripping not pissing out and it only drips when the car is running..
