Cool

The Renntech exhaust is a more aggressive unit compare to eisenmann and supersprint exhaust systems.

Here's the data from EuroElites extensive testing on dynos.

Performance gain: 2~3 hp

Weight loss: 2 lbs each side

No resonance at high speeds, and very subtle on cruising speeds.

Retail price: $3,495

A quick note, the rear valance has to be cut to accomodate the exhaust.

I had my local guy do a custom exhaust for me. He did a full catback with 3" stainless through an X Pipe, then through a pair of small high-flow borlas, and out dual tips (Didn't have to cut anything, they fit perfect). When I picked my car up, I got mad cuz it was still so DAM quiet. Without even taking the car home, I had him Remove the cats, and straight pipe it off the turbo. The cats are like dual 500-cell cats, and rob you of volume and flow. I paid barely a grand for EVERYTHING, and I couldn't be happier. It had a nice low rumble at idle, although not THAT loud as a V8 or non-turbo car, and at speed it roars very nicely, as I think a luxury European sports car should. Also, not that the cats are gone, I can REALLY hear my turbos spooling when I get on it, especially a cold night.

If I wanted to go any louder, I would remove the x-pipe, then maybe the Borlas, although they do very little to the sound I imagine. I'll try to get some pics for you if you want em.

You removed cats or resonators?
Cats being removed is illegal, you won't pass inspection.
Resonators can be removed without worry.

Where are you located, would your guy be interested in doing another one and shipping it? Thanks in advance.
