Question W204 Wheels Spec, anyone ?

Would like to get first hand information of W024 stock 18" front and rear rims specifications such as offsets, width.
Can we house bigger and wider front rear rims this time than W203.?

This can't be right Not compatible with any other benzs. The Brabus and Carlsson w204's had wheels on them already and I doubt they created a new mold just for the w204. I'm sure they just use thier brand specific spacers to make it fit. BTW Higher offset would mean less lip.

Is 8 x 18 front and 8,5 x 18 rear the larges wheel that will fit?
I was going for 8,5 and 9,5 x 19. But if I will have a rubbing issue I will have to reconsider.

That offset is insane...

For some odd reason it just doesn't seem right.

Not doubt there will be aftermarket wheels for the 204 in fact they are in the German magazines now. But, no W203 wheel will fit. My C320 has C36 AMG wheels, 7 1/2 & 8 1/2 X17 and I hoped to use them on my new C300 Lux since the stock wheels for the US market are so blah. But, I waded through the MB Germany website and found the wheels specs for the new car. Offsets around 50 which means my present AMGs with new Bridgestone RE 050As can't be used. And,the Luxury model (Elegance elsewhere) has no optional wheels for North America.

it sucks that the W204 offset is different with W203. I guess probably this is related to marketing issue???

Offsets

<<it sucks that the W204 offset is different with W203. I guess probably this is related to marketing issue???>>

I doubt that.

The only thing I can think of is that the new suspension requires more offset. To make it even worse, I can't order either AMG wheel for my C300 Lux. And I sure as hell am not going to buy wheels and tires later (I say now) because just the 18" tires in those sizes will cost about $1100. Plus whatever wheels I might want.

I just visited the carlsson website and it has different offsets in the tuning section of the W204.

Yeah, but that's still rather different from W203. Serious rubbing issues, if you can get the wheel in there at all.

On the flip side, yeah, deep dish baby
