Total number of cars built per year?

Does anyone know how many C32's and C55's were built each year? I just wanted to know how many are out there on the road. I assume just US numbers since the European numbers might include the C30AMG.

Perfect, thanks! I didn't realize just how few CLK55's sold, no wonder they dropped the coupe here. It is interesting to see the dropoff rates every year for each car (except the SLK55). No wonder they wanted to consolidate to using the same NA 6.3L V8 for each car. I woudln't be surprised if the V12 gets phased out as well and replaced with a V8TT.

from the AMG lounge..

"In the post below, you will find estimated production numbers by Model Year for each AMG model. Please realize that these numbers are only estimates and that this is based on model year NOT a calendar year. All numbers are only for the US Market. We will not release worldwide numbers on the Private Lounge.

This list includes model years 1995 to 2006. ""

I had no idea that there were so many SL55's, over 5K?

And I saw my first C36 on my way to work this morning! Wonder what year it was...

I remember reading about the W202 C55 AMG in an old issue of Mercedes Enthusiast. Talk about a rare car.

This is the one I really covet. But wow, I didn't realize they were so rare! Guess it isn't going to be as easy finding one in 3-4 years as I hoped

Check out the new issue of Automobile Magazine, they have a review of the E63 wagon. It's amazing.

That's crazy, I've seen at least 4 or 5 before. They're pretty distinctive (i.e. low wagon with huge amg wheels and exhaust tips). Must really tick off Porsches when they get killed by a car with two kids facing them in the back haha.

LOL! Actually, the kids would probably be plastered against the back window with all that torque working for 'ya. That would be an absolute blast. Good times, good times. As I just said in another thread, mine would have the vanity plate "DRGN WGN" on it too, heh. Such a fine vehicle. It is so, shall we say, choice.
