I was thinking of it, but it'd only be a good mod for the C55's since they have the button shifters on the steering wheel.

I just contacted my source @ MB and they would not give me any part numbers without a black series VIN number. Then I asked if I could just get the shifter and he said, "I cant help you out, especially on the shifter without a vin." It can't be that hard to get....can it?

I got a few part numbers off of EPC parts net, but not sure if they are the right ones. And I cant double check since both oempartsdirect and duval motors website are down.
