Planning to Lease E-Class...advice, please
The 48-month lease on our BMW 3 series wagon expires August 20. Right now, we're leaning toward replacing it with an E-350 wagon.
Should we begin the purchasing process now, or wait until August, to take advantage of (hopefully) good incentives on remaining '08 models?
This is our first time going from one leased vehicle to another, so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

incentives are good right now for the E class. i don't know how much better they'll be in a month or so from now. you should at least start your shopping now so you know what kind of inventory is out there and that you actually want to buy that car. if the '09s start to show up on dealer lots there will be only the orphan '08s that remain. you may get a good deal, but color and options will be limited. another thing to consider is that if you re-lease with bmw, they will probably waive the drop off fee which is usually about $500 and they may take your current car back early. this is what mercedes does for any current e class buyers who are currently leasing a qualified mercedes from mercedes benz financial.
