Tanzanite Blue C63 - It's here!
I finally picked it up on Friday afternoon after ordering it in April (I planned for a Nov delivery).
Below are a few shots taken with the phone. Yes, they are the new style mirrors, (happy with that), windows go it to get tinted on Monday, so will aim to get some better photos in the next week.
Depending on the angle that sunlight hits it, it can look a deep purple through to a dark electric blue, inside or shadow, it looks nearly black.

HEy Phill, thats the dealership in fortitude valley isn't it? i took my ML63 there once for service after a drive up from sydney and they were excellent. enjoy your car, only 8 weks now til mine comes, going to be like christmas all over again!

Maverick1975 - Yep, Brisbane MB in the Valley. They've been my dealer since 2002 (3 cars from them), have never had any problems with them at all. As for your wait - hang in there, I know your pain - it does goes away about 1/10sec after you turn to key for the first time!

I never thought that color would be so good looking, it makes the car look luxurious/expensive. I am really impresed with that color, nice choice and good on you for taking the risk of ordering a unique color.

Looking for a new toy.
Nice ride, great colour choice! I was in a bit of a quandary over Tanzanite, or Fire Opal - ended up ordering the Fire Opal. As nice as the various grey scale (black to white and everything grey/silver in between) look, they're just far too common now IMO. It's nice to see a bit of colour and something different for a change

1) Thanks all for the comments.
2) Parktronic is great, when the display goes full red and solid sound, you are still about 6-8" away from the object. the two outside one on the front also sense out to the side, so reverse parking is also made easy when swing the front in. (Note:- The Aust delivery cars come with just about everything as standard including P'tronic, HK sound, HID lights, nappa leather, folding mirrors, etc.)
2) FishtailnZ (and others) - My SLK was obsidian black and I didn't want another black & silver/grey doesn't do it for me. My T'Blue was/is the only C63 in this colour that has been ordered through Bris MB so it was a bit of a risk but I'm definitely over the moon with my choice now.
3) I have discovered 1 problem though, to get the break-in km’s out of the way, it is proving to be a massive exercise in self-restraint!

Very unique. Enjoy the new ride and the upcoming summer in Brisbane. I was there at the World Masters Track and Field Championships in 2000 for about a month. Great City with lots of twisties LOL

Wow.. nice.. Tanzanite Blue Metallic and Carneal Red Metallic are my top 2 choices.

this blue does not match with c63 well... this color looks very mature... it's better for S class .. c63 is better to go with a more funky and aggressive type of blue... like the common one for M5 / M6.. but MB does not have that color...
this blue just makes the c63 looks old and plain... just like another non-amg c class out there...
