I was trying to figure this out too (https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...ff-before.html).

Here's a diagram courtesy of Vic Viper

I was planning on covering the interior doors with Damplifier Pro. I saw the two bolts under the handle, but that's as far as I got. I tried prying it a bit from the sides, but didn't want to break anything.

2 bolts under armrest and pull firmly. Remember: there are wire harnesses to unplug (duh). This has to be one of the easiest cars as far as door panel removal.

Ok, so just those two bolts then? and just a firm pull? cool.

On the fronts remove the A pillar speaker grille before removing the door.

What does Damplifier exactly do for you? does it reduce more outside road noice or is it to improve the speakersound?

Mike or Norm,

If you do pull all your doors apart, could you kindly try to see if you can tell what are the color of the wire that is feeding the bulb on the bottom of each door. I pulled one of the bulb out before but it was some generic blue flat ribbon wire. It must become some color wire at the edge of the door.

I just finished the wheel well area and the top back (where the speakers are) in the trunk. PITA. Lesson learned....wear gloves. The aluminum foil is sharp. Sorry didn't take any pics of the install, but there are plenty on youtube of how it's installed. I kinda got lazy and didn't remove the trim around the wheel well and resorted to sticking pieces in through the access ports. Took it out for a spin and did notice a drop in sound and drone, but still could use some work. Tomorrow I'm going to do the trunk door and see how that turns out. Then if I need more, I'll start on the side doors.
