Sorry for asking such noob questions. I've never owned a Merc before so I don't know what manufactures the best aftermarket exhausts for the C63.

I am assuming there should be a great system that really brings out the noise of this monster. Even the M3 sounds so much more aggressive with a Eisenmann exhaust. M5/6 can sound like a Gallardo with a certain exhaust. I know there must be some exhaust that can really make the C63 growl.

The stock system growls already. Do the cat-delete and/or resonator delete, and it's even louder & nastier. Pop straight pipes/headers on, and install foam ear plugs.

GTHaus Meisterschaft and Eisenmann Race if you are going to replace. Your stock exhaust is made by Eisenmann. It does roar as is, but it can always roar more if that's what you're looking for. Try X or straight pipes and deleting your resonator first through before messing with the rest of your exhaust setup

Did you guys know that the Eisenmann exhaust made for AMG cars is hand-built?

Check this out: http://www.bmwblog.com/2008/12/19/in...mann-facility/

...and I quote: "Along with the McLaren SLR exhaust system, I saw some of the master fabricators working on the new Mercedes AMG systems. It’s amazing to see that each Mercedes AMG system is still made by hand at Eisenmann’s factory. Seeing Eisenmann’s fabricators carefully manufacturing exhausts entirely by hand, when they’re going on a car that is completely mass produced (with the exception of the engine) is just incredible to me."

I don't want it to sound different. In fact, I saw a youtube vid of some aftermarket exhaust that actually made the sound horrible compared to stocks. I just want it to sound more louder and aggressive with stock sound.

btw I had no clue Eisenmann made the mufflers for AMG cars, no wonder they sound so good. Looks like the only thing I'll be doing is cat/res delete.

Here's another noob question, is cat/res delete the same thing? And what about straight/X pipe? Is adding that the same thing as deleting cat/res?

Eisenmann didn't make mufflers for all AMGs, just a few like the C63. Most were outsourced to Sebring.

Cat is different than res. When you talk about straight/X/H pipe replacement, people are talking about the res.
