Theres a lag in shifting using the m Mode
Ya I was just thinking the same thing. The fastest auto shifts I've ever experienced.

Give me a C63 in a manual...
My 09 seems to have a little delay also. I've also just been reading and gathering information on the ECU and TCU tuning since I joined the forum. Need to get to the track and get some base line runs in so I can get rolling, as this is the first vehicle I've owned more than a month with out modding.

hmm, I am thinking about calling Kleemann to get more infor on TCU and ECU since they have really good reputation around here. I wondered if someone else did it already. I will be surprised if no one hasn't asked about the lag issue yet. It's kind of annoying. just me...
He says that the Kleemann tune does absolutely nothing to change or alter this. What others have written about the transmission feel has nothing to do with the shift points having been changed. Perhaps it is just that extra power from the tune that eludes to that feeling.
Regarding the shifting, unfortunately, most AMGs have this shift delay. What makes matters worse is that the delay is actually variable. One time, the delay maybe 0.005 seconds while other times, it maybe 0.01 seconds. This makes it incredibly hard to learn how to time it. In general, best results are usually achieved via sport mode right after aggressive re-adaptations.
Now the 335's ZF tranny is a really good unit that probably shift slightly faster than the tranny in C63 but I don't think it rev match as well and sport mode isn't as good.
As of now theres always a tradeoff between comfort and shiftspeed.(again mabye not the PDK)
