1985 300d cruise control stops working
Please help. The cruise control
on my 1985 300d works most of the time but sometimes it won't work. Sometimes it will set and then precede to gain speed until I turn it off. Sometimes it will set then turn off by itself, then won't reset. And sometimes it works fine. Any ideas????

The amp is probably acting up. You could remove the amp from the car and carefully remove the circuit board from the aluminum housing and resolder each solder joint. This may cure the problem

Did you ever get the cruise control repaired, that is- figure out where and how to replace the amplifier....?
