Bumper got scuffed - need touchup paint

I really thought it was going to be worse. Heard a belt start squeaking under hood as I was driving and was listening intently as I was parking... so intently that I rubbed up against a pole...

No damage thankfully, but a little paint rubbed off on the corner of my bumper. Can anyone give me the part number for iridium silver touch-up paint, or know where I can get equivalent for a decent price?

I really hope that squeak was just due to weather changing and goes away, if not...

I scuffed the bottom of my bumper due to an unavoidable pothole on the road. ( I was so pissed ). I was looking into this website http://www.paintscratch.com/for now.The price seems reasonable but I am not sure on the quality...

Iridium silver#775
May want to try spray can for better coverage ?
Seems to work better than a brush or touch up bottle .
Sometime the pen with color works well also
from www.paintscratch.com above

I wish I had my car nearby. It'll be dark out by the time I get home :/

I'll try to find a pic of a rear bumper and photoshop to give you an idea. Basically it rubbed down to where it's white (primer?) in two very thin streaks.

EDIT:

Here's a pic I found online. The green lines represent an approximation of where and what size the scuffs are that went down to the white. I'll try to get a pic of the actual damage tonight.

I was thinking of getting one of those, but then realized it wouldn't have prevented this incident... Still might get one anyway

Any advice for my pic?

Will the pen from www.paintscratch.com work for this type of scuff and has anyone tried their iridium silver?

Do I go for the clearcoat pen as well?

Should I just get the touch-up paint from the dealer?

I had a bumper badger on my Lexus and it ended up scratching the bumper worse than any car could . . A solution to that was attaching microfiber towels on the inside of it.

The dealership around here sells an Autovisuals touch up paint pen . . Personally I don't like it at all. If you apply too much pressure it drips paint all over. I just poured the paint out into a plastic container and used a brush.

Thought about that. Will probably get some masking tape for the surrounding area, just in case.

Here's a pic of the actual damage. May look bigger in that pic, so just use that edge of tail-light to give you an idea of scale. So should I go for the pens?

Also, I think the belt squeak issue went away. Just needed to go WOT for a little and it disappeared. Just how many belts are there under our hood anyway?

What is that?

Regarding the touch up pens, I've heard that its better to get a small bottle and a fine brush to do the touchup. Its much easier to control than the pens.

Honestly, I wouldn't even touch that up. It'll be even more glaring that you had a boo boo there once you put touch up paint on it. Did the paint really rub off or is it just paint from the pole? Try the route of waxing and buffing it out first. If it don't work, you can go to a reputable paint shop that can blend the paint with your iridium silver better than any touch up paint can.

Does the touch up paint require a layer of clear coat? I just bought a touch up tube from my dealer, but it was paint only. I thought MB sold touch up paint with a tube of clear also.

This is the way to go, looks like a bigger job than touch-up paint...maybe a good MB shop could airbrush or blend those spots.
