Fault Code B1241 Refrigerant Fill 03 E500

Does code B1241 need to be cleared before the AC compressor will be allowed to operate?

The system has been properly charged, but AC off is still always displayed. I checked the values for the various sensors and all are ok.

I do not know if i have a B1241 code but I believe I do because the refrigerant pressure was so low. The leak is now fixed. Is there any way for me to clear the code or is SDS the only option?

you do have to have the codes cleared. SDS is the only way i know of to clear the codes out of the a/c system.
