I just traded a rustbucket 2001 Kia Sephia w/30k miles on it for a 1993 190e 2.6 that had never been driven in salt/snow with 113k miles. The MBZ looks, runs and drives like the new one I had in 1992. Changed all fluids and filters, replaced rear pads and rotors, non-working radio (bypassed fader and disconnected power to non-working power antenna and amp in trunk and found it had 4 newer Pioneer speakers), disconnected cold shift delay and in general found it had been well maintained - new ball joints, mufflers, tires, front brakes, belts and hoses, distrib cap, rotor and plugs, etc.
Even tho I have worked on cars for 45yrs, This forum (and BenzWorld) helped a lot - especially the radio wiring diagrams. BTW if you have replaced the radio make sure the the yellow/black and the yellow/green/black wires (Ignition) stay together - otherwise the rear window heater won't work (as I found out).
Thanks for all the help
