What are you doing...installing the original stereo or aftermarket?
If it's aftermarket.... kits are available that allow you to NOT cut into the original wiring harness and yet allow you to install a aftermarket radio.

(I see you are on line and I waited 10 minutes for your reply....I guess you got busy and I have to log out.)

The whole system is a mess, the factory install used one of those blck plugs for antenna trigger, power, ground and dimmer. They then used a large din cable to go to the tuner mounted at the base of the rear wheel which is still there (dont know why) the output from that tuner (2pair) went to the seven channel (Bose) which fed 11 speakers. There were four in the back deck, two were tied together, one in each rear door, two in each front door, and a tweeter behind the rear view mirror, The balance was handled by the front control, and the fader was controlled by the wheel on the console. By the looks of this mess there were amps in the trunk. You have a handfull, returning to origional, or starting all over. It cant be a big job to get a head unit and then just tie it in to the wires coming from the Bose the wires for the speakers are all in looms even going into the doors.

There are 11, unless someone added another, If I were doing it I would start with a clean sheet. Check this link they talk about radios. The dash speakers were for the Cellular option, and had nothing to do with the audio.
