Active Head Light Malfunction
Currently shopping for an E55 and the dealer ( Acura Dealer) called me today and said the active head light malfunction has come up on the car I'm looking at buying, I still feel the price is in line. What normally causes this and whats the best case/ worst case repair?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

My Active Headlight malfunction light came on and I took it to the dealer for a repair last week. The headlight cornering sensor was malfunctioning and to fix it the part is $1600.00 PLUS labor. I just had the dealer deactivate the headlight cornering. Now I have no error message ....but no headlight cornering either. -No a big deal either and not worth $2000+..... and the headlights work just fine.

It could simply be that the battery was unhooked or died. This will throw the warning until the steering wheel is turned several times lock to lock with the engine running to re-calibrate the steering wheel angle sensor.
