2007 G500 COMAND. Dealer can't add AUX.

2007 G500 COMAND. Dealer can't add AUX.
Hello!
By default my 2007 G500 doesn't have the AUX connector.
After reading the mercedes forums, I purchased the "Mercedes G500 Auxiliary Input Harness" from http://www.fourbyfourclub.com/W463El...putHarness.htm
My local MB dealer couldn't locate the Plug C in car harness and said that the AUX cannot be installed.
My COMAND (US Edition) unit has a CD and DVD behind the screen. When I press the Eject button the screen moves down and out and behind it I can see the CD and DVD. On the Audio menu, the AUX option is in the top right corner.
There's also a 6-CD changer in the back of the car.
Question to the mbworld gurus: is my dealer right or not?
If the dealer is right, what are my options?

just curious why would u require the AUX for?
If you get an after market headunit, these new systems are equipped with ipod/iphone, usb input. Wouldn't that be much easier?
