1999 SL500 sold for $20!

Check out this homepage article about a man getting an SL500 for 20 bucks! This is certainly one of the coolest gestures ever, but does it make you like the Steelers even a little?

I've been a Steelers fan for over 44 yrs so its just a reflection of what kindness we are capable of as humans if we let love rule our actions

Not a fan of the Steelers but DEFINITELY A HUGE fan of HORTON now! Horton, if you happen to read this...I really think it was awesome what you did. It took a huge heart to do something like this. This kind act will be remembered for quite a while.

Ohhhh..almost forgot GO TEXANS! LOL

Once again

I guarantee that this car means a lot more to this cook now than it does to Horton. Was a great gesture! He is now riding in style
Horton...you da man!

A nice gesture...but there is no way a line cook will be able to afford the maintenance on an SL500. ...even an R129 with 55k miles.

If I can keep my E55 maintained on a dishwasher pay then im sure he has no problem with keeping up the SL500 on his wages .

BTW the nice gesture im almost postive was more of a tax right off or some kind of right off more then anything else . how else you gonna write off 20k for $20

This is kind of like that 50cent video he did with that dwarf lookin kid , everyone who hated 50 was on his 8===D after talkin about how much respect they have for him now , little did they know it was a free promo for 50cent on his new song .. But in effect that little kid is the most popular dwarf in world now and has multiple videos with a bunch a big artists ..This guy with the benz has to report Monday back to flippin burgers

That's a truly wonderful gesture...I hope to be able to that sort of thing for someone else at some point in my life. I think a little goodwill goes a long way in this world and this was a fine example of just that!

If he finds a good independent mechanic or does his own maintenance he'll be fine.

Way to go Ray Horton! Not a Steeler fan either but he is a former Cowboy and I remember him contributing to the '92 Super Bowl season. Good man!
