maybe buying amg,, couple questions..
How else would I make sure its an amg? finally are the 430 and amg brakes interchangeable?(same abutment bracket mounting points on the steering knuckle) thanks!
The 4 ways I proved mine was a AMG before I bought it were:
1. AMG on steering wheel (you can fake this pretty easy).
2. Cluster has AMG on it, which would be a bit more costly to fake but is still possible.
3. Run a carfax (vin number will tell you a lot - I forget which numbers to look at)
4. I had the oil pan dropped, looked up into the cylinders, and saw AMG stamped on the bottom of the pistons =D This method costed about $150.00 but it was worth it. It was also cool to see the silicone cylinder lining...
Hope this helps!

"The position of each letter or number in the VIN code reveals important information about where and when your Mercedes was made, the type of engine it has, the model or series of the car, various equipment/attributes and its production sequence. Each character or digit has a particular purpose as follows:"
