Speedometer error right? Applies to ALL German european vehicles?
Was going 20 mph to 21 mph as indicated on my speedometer on a local road near a school zone and a nearby radar speed detector reader showed me an actual speed of 19 mph.
If mine is off around 1-2 mph (also it's Winter season, could affect my tires and tire pressure) so I can't imagine the speedometer error at highway speeds...
Is this all natural for everyone here?

Most cars leave the factory with the speedo reading higher than the actual speed. That's part of the reason that most police officers give some leeway to the speed limit.

It's officially called "speedometer advance" and it's required by German law/regulation.
You know, not all brands of tire of the same size rating are actually the same size. Of course a worn tire isn't the same size it once was, either. Manufacturers of cars are required to compensate for this.
Expectations of pinpoint accuracy are unrealistic.
