hello i have 92 190e 2.3L, i have disconnected the starter and had it checked for malfunction its working fine, now i have another issue; when i had reconnected the starter back on there seems to be no effort made to start the car as if the ignition does not recognize the starter is working. I have also checked the wiring at it looks like there is a third wire black one hanging, its connected to a black box separate from the selonoid box. Any suggestions on what I might do greatly appreciated.
