iPad kit for G55
Picked up a couple of the new Mercedes iPad entertainment kits to install in the G55:
Installed without any problems and works perfectly. Great idea for passengers / children.
Here's some info that may be of assistance if your MB dealer is not sure what to order (there are two kits available depending on the type of wiring harness you require):
Apple iPad 2R Docking Station Plus for rear compartment
• B6 782 7077 Apple iPad 2R Docking Station Plus Kit, consisting of:
• A166 820 0351 iPad 2® High basic kit (consisting of A166 820 0151 iPad 2 cradle, A166
913 1000 High cradle mount, operating instructions)
• A212 913 0000 mount
• A000 983 6083 protective film for iPad 2®
• B6 782 7047 iCANi low speed
• A212 820 8713 wiring harness, CAN1
• only in conjunction with fully power-adjustable seats with memory (Code 275+(241/242))
• not in conjunction with Rear Seat Entertainment System (Code 864) or pre-installation for
Rear Seat Entertainment (Code 866)
