2012 now or order 2013 and LSD or not??
I am about to pull the trigger on a new C63. Should I pick up a deal with the promotional financing on a 2012 or order a 2013. I am trying to determine the differences between the 12 and 13.
Also for a car that is unlikely to see track time is the limited slip differential worth the extra $$.
I really appreciate the input as this is likely to happen pretty quickly.

Adding the LSD was my first thought also. But read where limited track use was involved that the electronics would manage it.
Does anyone know what the changes will be from 12-13??

We have a 2012 C63 with P31 AND L.S.D.
There is no doubt that for all normal driving it would not be necessary to option the L.S.D.. I doubt whether I would be good enough to exploit the benefits of an LSD.
However, the L.S.D. is one of the few "performance" options on the C63, and to be honest, I just think it adds to the "character"/makes it more "complete" if you like, to have this option. I think it should be a part of P31.
We intend on owning this car for a long time, it means a lot to wifey & Me, so we ordered what we wanted.
However, on the other hand, if your C63 is just "another car", & you'll have it for a few years & get something else, then I'd say that you could easily do without the L.S.D.
I suppose another point would be that should you sell your C63, as it has P31, then it may have more "attraction" to the buyer, who is looking "for a bit more"!

I like the idea and called for it on an ordered car. There happens to be a 2012 with all my other requirements but is lacking the LSD. I could take advantage of the promotional financing which would not be available for a 2013 ordered car.
I worked for Ferrari for 25 years, had tons of track time in those cars the c63 would be my wife's daily driver. I love the way it drives and will give it a good go, but on the street not the track.
