Have I done it correctly?
So here goes,
I had some AC trouble recently, took it to an indy and he replaced the evaporator. After i got my car back, I noticed that the cooling was better than before, but still not what you would expect from an MB. It would blow cold air, then it would go bk to just blowing air, until i increased the fan speed.
Anyhow, last night while driving back home, my wife who was on the passenger seat noticed that the floor mats on her side were soaked. I inspected the area, the mats were actually wet, and so was the carpet underneath.
I knew it wasnt some spilt water or drink as I am very careful about food and drinks in the car, plus mats wouldnt let any liquid flow down to the carpet. so i decided to strip the carpet off and thats when i found a small pipe that was loose. I also spotted an 'opening' above the pipe. So naturally i attached the pipe to the opening. I believe it was the opening where the water was come from.
Anyways my ac seems to work better, It blows out cold air now.
I have attached the images with post for your consideration. Does anyone know what those pipes are? and have I fixed them properly? How do they effect the AC?
Once again my questions may seem very silly, its because I am new here and not very handy either, but I eager to learn.
Thank You
