anyone use brembo brake pads for their car?
hey guys what brand brake pads do u use for your car??? i see brembo makes it for mercedes and so does bendix. do these brands create a lot of brake dust as the original? thanks!

I would recommend Akebono pads if brake dust is an issue. I drive up and downhill a lot and Brembo pads had their fair share of dust after a week. On flat land, not so much. On the Akebono branded pads, I've rarely dealt with brake dust (or at least my rims were not dirty enough to require cleaning).

I had Akebono's installed on my 07 E550. Yes, they do reduce brake dust but, you do lose a little stopping power. That said, I would also recommend Akebono brake pads.

I think he was getting at that the brake size pad has to basicly be the same size to fit the caliper.

p.s. i think everyone here would appreciate if you can share with us what brands you are referring to that don't fit so we can avoid them in the future. i have been really lucky in the past 20yrs but you never know, my next set might not fit right.

i'm sorry if i offended you. no question is a stupid question especially if they are sincere. I think the 3 min commercial you dug up just solved your problem. According to Binny, you should forget about Brembo and go with Mercedes pads.
p.s. i think everyone here would appreciate if you can share with us what brands you are referring to that don't fit so we can avoid them in the future. i have been really lucky in the past 20yrs but you never know, my next set might not fit right.
