knocking noise coming from the front end of vehicle while driving???

Check your sway bar links, if it is when your going over imperfections on a road. Easily could be a bad sway bar link or missing a sway bar link nut (embarrassing story of mine). Could be many other things, ball joint, broken control arm bushings, snapped sway bar, tie rod [ends].
Soooooo many things it can be.
Try parking the car, grab the fender and rock the car, you may need to be a bit persuasive. No noise then it may be front axle not a common thing though.
