Exclamation Mercedes-Benz Specifications for Operating Fluids: Engine Oil, Gear Oil, ATF, Coolant

Hey Members,

You may also find the following site very helpful.

Mercedes-Benz Specifications for Operating Fluids: Engine Oil, Gear Oil, ATF, Coolant, Brakefluid

Do any of you know if there exists a site where a user just enters his/her Mercedes year, model, etc..., and is given the most current (since Mercedes-Benz continually improves) spec sheets for all operating fluids?

For example, I would like to know the latest spec sheets for all operating fluids for my 2001 E320 4Matic Wagon. I'm sure at least some of the original spec sheets have been updated--to new spec sheets--since my car rolled off the assembly line.

Thanks for any information you can provide.

With extensive research, I've cobbled together the following for my 2001 E320 4Matic Wagon.
Please let me know if you know--or believe--otherwise.

engine oil (sheet 229.5)
ATF (sheet 236.10)
differential fluid - front (sheet 235.74 or 235.7)
differential fluid - rear (sheet 235.7 or 235.74)
hydraulic fluid - tandem pump (sheet 344.0)
coolant (sheet 325.0)
brake fluid (sheet 331.0)

Most of the above fluids can be purchased through online vendors--eg., AutohausAZ, Partsgeek, Eckler's, MBZSpecialist, and RMEuropean.

The tricky one to find was the hydraulic fluid for the common oil reservoir for the power steering/self-leveling rear suspension, which I found at bimmerspecialist.com.
They carry Fuchs Titan ZH 5364 B for only $15.99/L!!!

I hope the above helps somebody out, and saves them a lot of time...and money.

Cheers!

Glad to help another brother or sister.

Thanks Plutoe.

The research took quite a bit of time, but I learned a great deal about my car as well as other Mercedes models.

I must be a masochist because I enjoyed every moment!
