removing mirror covers on a Gl or ML
does anyone have the proper procedure to remove the mirror covers on the w166 / x166?

cmon guys....don't any of you tinker with your own trucks???? the guys over on the W212 forum sure were into their cars more than GL drivers....

as an update....
I took the GL to the dealer and they spent two hours switching the covers.
the hard part is popping the mirrors off.. if you break the driver one.. it will cost you $1300! glad I let them do it.

I added chrome mirror covers that I got off of ebay (from China)
very nice and OEM fit.
