Why are you looking for it?
The idle air is control by the computer and like I saw in your earlyer post it sounds like you need a M16 motor(throttle body).

If you have a 104 engine(silver valve cover) then its a PITA to change.

The IAT sensor is on the intake right before it goes into the engine. It takes 30 seconds to check and change. This is on the older engine.

I'd try cleaning it with alchohol first. This trick sometimes works on even the air mass meter.

Just so I understand this correctly, if you stand in front of the engine and look at the air intake. You have the MAS on the left, the plastic trunking then snakes over the top of the engine and down into the throttle body. Just before it enters the throttle body up on the right hand bend of the plastic trunking there is a push fit sensor.........is this the IAT??????????

what is an iat? idle air throttle? so it is the part before the silver area?? i understand the part where the black snake lookin intake goes over the engine, it is the part right after that? what is that sensor on the HUGE air intake that is over the engine? not the mas but the sensor after that?

Idle Air Temperature sensor. It's right before the intake goes into the engine.

No, it's not. If we were allowed to post pictures larger than one byte I could show you.

Stupid cheap forum. What happened to being able to give out useful information?
