Of course there will be dealers asking for over sticker. Whether or not you fall victim to that is up to you. There are tons of dealers that will be getting these cars, I wouldn't pay a cent over.

oh no i wouldnt pay over, just wondering to myself if i can get one and if its not my thing sell it and not lose much or possibly even make a little on it. The I8 guys sure did...

already my dealer tried getting a premium of $8,683 over the list price since I paid a deposit before announcing the price. But told them I will file a case against them. so they took the $8,683 premium off!

If you want one for sticker, it's as easy as going out of major markets. I got my i8 for sticker in October. One of the first dozen in the country from a large but relatively "middle of nowhere" (i.e. not L.A., NYC, Miami, TX) BMW dealer in central Virginia. Local Mercedes has an Edition 1 GT-S they're selling for sticker...whatever that ends up being.
