Question magno paints - any experiences?

Hey guys, just signed up as I just recently put down an order for a GTS. My first MB ever

I'm very excited, but also a bit concerned. I ordered a designo magno paint, however my experience with matte paints before has been - well, not great.

Are these paints as incredibly sensitive and maintenance finnicky as other paints have been, or is the salesman right that these are pretty durable? I've got another month that I can change my paint choices, so not sure if I stick with it, or go safe...

I have driven many of them with the matte paint and have talked to many owners... No complaints! Was easy to wash and keep the clean look.
There are a lot of comments on this topic online if you search this forum and Google.

going on 2 years with mine and it's the best paint ever.
No maintenance. Easy to take care off. Looks phenomenal even a bit dirty
The only issue is touching up nicks is not really an option so I would Xpel the door jambs and the front.
Go for it

Going on 2 years and as long as you know how to care for matte paint its a great look.
If it gets scratched that will be a bit of a problem as you cant buff out scratches on a matte finish.

This link should have some pics of my C63 507 Designo Magno Platinum.

I ordered the GTS in Iridium Silver Magno as it looks to be a lighter shade.
Good luck on either the matte paint or non matte. If the sunbeam yellow wasn't a 10k add on it would be a no brainer.

C63 Black Series, Magno Alanite Grey
Go with dr beasleys

Both of my black series c/SLS are 044 Magno alanite grey.

Durable beutiful finishes, I always and only use Dr beasleys matte finish products.

Hope that helps!

Various AMG Models
I've had my E63S with Magno Grey for a little over six months and I'm happy it's a lease.. Paint seems durable but there's no touch up, so any road rash, stone chips, etc are there for good.

Hi Faraz,

I am looking at Dr Beasleys. Which products do you recommend particularly? does your paint 'repel' dirt?

cheers
