Excuse my question but I am really confused. How can a car be 2 days to completion when the Est prod date in computer is 09/06/16 which is 45 days from now?
Maybe I understand incorrectly and the "est prod date" is the date that the car is finally complete (B5) and it Aftlerbach about 45 days to do final testing and it sits somewhere waiting to be picked up to be taken to the port.

Our SL went to B1 status (or B10; same thing. 13 days from production) on April 20 and the car ending up in B4 status for a month or so without being updated. B5 finally on July 12.
Different car, similar issue...

My dealer still tells me arrival date in Florida is late October to beginning of November so it would take 2 months from being finished to crossing the pond and landing in Naples.
Maybe they will surprise me and it will come in early in October but I am not holding my breath for that.

Aren't you guys used to MB's delays by now? My SLS was over a month late, my GT was well over a month late and my GLA45 was like 3-4 months late....AMG is a joke with their dates, if you guys thing that when you place your order that you will get the car anywhere even close to the initial date they quote you you're setting yourselves up for a big letdown. All 2016 GLA were delayed my 3 months and nobody from MB/AMG ever posted an update or gave a reason as to why they were late. For a while there they were using the EPA as the excuse until they got called out on that one by someone a year or so back.

JRCART: I have not bought as many cars as you but maybe I am lucky because my dealer's estimate has always been spot on. We shall see on this one. I am happy to wait a bit more and be without a car payment lol

So contemplating some shoes and working through numbers.
One member used HRE p101 and it looked great except I want to be a little less aggressive on rears. Fronts look perfect.
Front ET50 19
Rear ET45 20
Wanting to do same with a little less offset and 315 or 325 in rear as Michelin has limited aspects. Thoughts?

So backing off the 45 to maybe 50? On rear. ? Stock rear is 68.
The weistec coilovers are a bargain at $1800. Struts and springs. So going there as I did not opt for AMG "adaptive suspension" for $1500

Looks like forum vendors are not keen to share offsets. I am waiting to put a few thousand miles on car to make sure I do not have suspension issues or any unwanted noises before I put aftermarket wheels. Please let us know what you go with a s I look forward to pics.

Damn euro vacation is what delayed our cars I suspect. Car should be here in November.
