Has anyone installed 6 point belts? If so, I'd be interested in hearing how they were mounted.

I think you will see a solution to this when the GTR comes out in spring.

Nor is its height correct for properly tethering a harness. You could get it made by a good race shop. Would also require fab'ing an anchor for the anti-submarine belt of the harness. It's all do-able, albeit pricey.

Prepping my 'Vette Z for the track was easy in this regard because there are after-market solutions. Not so for the GT....too few of them, and very few of those likely to ever see a track.

Yep. It's doable - but will cost the fab money. The tower brace that is there stock is not designed for support like would be needed in a race - AND, it's the wrong height for attachment.

Also the belt pass thru's on the seat backs are only for show and not meant to receive belts.

Yep. Proly need a proper race seat installed to get correct belt geometry. Gonna be an expensive mod. to fit a 6-point. And dangerous to take any short-cuts to save $$.
