Help with wheel offset

Trying to get after market wheels, and i absolutely like 12.5 X 21 for the rears, but would like to know from people who runs that off set if there is any stretch or rub because I don't want to sacrifice performance. Thanks !

Lol. The wheel guys treat it like a military secret

But I'm sure every manufacturer is slightly different, I think your trying to stuff too much wheel in there. My 2

you need to call hre and ask what they have and tell them what you want, they are one of the best and will have done wheels for the car before and know they work

also you pick the tire size you want first, then pick the wheel that goes with that , not the wheel first

Agreed, I got together with David and he set me up with a set of HREs for my RRS and HRE did a perfect job on the fitment.

How about sharing for what?

Its been posted and talked about a bunch of times so its all searchable. That said, the GT, GTC and GTR all have different wheels and offsets. Starting there will help you get your answer. HRE tends to be a little mild with their set ups and SUPER pricey - expect to pay 12K for a 20/21 set up...Anrky, Brixton and AL13 will all be in that range. AG will be a little cheaper, more like the 7 to 8k range. The only way you go cheaper is to pick their flow form wheels...cheaper but also cast wheels with largely fixed offsets (you get what you pay for).

A 12" wheel will be perfect for a 325 tire; however, some of the forged designs will force you towards a 12.5" width. Each of the GT models should fit the wheel you are talking about. That said, its the offset that will determine if it fits your car.

As an example, here is my old Pro with a 20/21 set up. The config is:

Front - 20x10j ET40
Rear - 21x12j ET36
