Starter Stuck Cranking
Hey Guys
I have been trying to fix my car by getting the car out of Limp Mode for the past month. I tried disconnecting the modules in the can and worked for a while but it will go back into limp mode again .. I noticed that when i start the car and accelerate as soon as it is on.. i works fine until I slow down for a stop, and its back in limp mode. I turn it off and back on again the ASR light is off and the ASR light comes back on if i dont accelerate immediately after it starts.. So I took it to a shop to get some codes which are as follows
p0006 (0006) 006 EFP CONTROL UNIT (N4/1)
P0050 (0050) 080 STOP LANMP SWITCH (S9/1)
P0080 (0080) 128 FRONT LEFT WHEEL SPEED SIGNAL FROM ASR CONTROL UNIT (N30/1)
p00E0 (OOEO) 224 ACCELERATOR PEDAL IDLE SPEED CONTACT SWITCH (S29/3)
Ive replaced the following
1-Break Switch
2-Accelerator Peddle Sensor (the one attached to the gas peddle)
-- Waiting for the speed sensor to get here to replace both front sensors
Anyways, so out of curiosity I tested out the car to see if by replacing the
Break switch and the accelerator sensor did the fix.. and it didn't ..
actually I drove back home in limp mode and the worst of the matter...
the Stater got stuck cranking.. I got home and turned off the car and the
stater is still cranking even with ignition key out. to the point that I had
to disconnect the battery.. after a few minutes i reconnected the battery
and it is still stuck cranking..so i decided to disconnect the ignition switch
to see if something in there was sending the signal to the stater. so
reconnected the battery with the ignition completely disconnected and the
starter is still stuck cranking.. I was trying to see if I can disconnect the
stater relay but i can find it.. so now the limp mode is the last thing on my
mind to fix..
can anyone help me...
