While I appreciate a reply showing photos of a number of member's M-B's, I am really only looking for responses concerning defective cruise controls, particularly of the type used by M-B on the 2014 models. I think most of the cruise controls operated in a similar fashion, based upon my driving experience with the different models, so that should be noted. Main problem: Cruise Control went from apparent sleep mode to full-on acceleration from about 20 miles and hour and locked in "on" and "full power" conditions and I couldn't turn it off. A crash resulted from my loss of control as a result of the "locked" cruise control. Unfortuneately, my pedal foot, (my right foot here in USA) got pinned between gas pedal and floor board and was pinned there despite my exerted efforts to extricate my foot from under the accelerator pedal and floor board where it was pinned. Took only a matter of seconds on the crowded freeway for the car to gain enough speed to wind up in four-car collision with my 2014 C350. I need anyone's bad experiences in any fashion with M-B cruise control or accelerator pedal to help me to understand what may have happened to cause this accident. Thank you. (If necessary please redirect me to proper thread. Thank you!)
