Still enjoying my 2003 W211 E240..
Now looking to replace my OEM wheels with some AMG wheels..

#psdaus, there is a good guy I use for my wife's c200k, in Dural, New Line Auto, Dural round corner. don't turn right into videoezzy but go straight to the end. He is at the corner shop. Name is John.

I know it has been a while since people have asked but for anybody wanting to know where to bring a Mercedes to get work done on it in Sydney you should contact Sonny at Autowerks, I guarantee you will be happy with his quality workmanship.
And no I am not involved in his business, in fact I am not even a customer of his as I am located interstate but I am fully aware of the work he does and it is 100% top notch.
Also if anyone with a C63 has some rear mufflers for sale after upgrading their exhaust I may be interested in buying them so please PM me.

Hi psdaus, Sorry did not read your email properly. Have you updated your wheels yet. If not I got mine from a recommendation. AGR Tyre and Wheel Centre, 62 Carlingford St., Sefton. I had an excellent trade in for my OEM wheels when it was just 2 days old.

That's funny. I think I have one of jesydney's oem wheels. I purchased a genuine spare front wheel from AGR Tyre and Wheel Centre and had them ship it down to me in Melbourne and I keep it in my boot in a wheel bag as a spare as the 2003 w211 E55 does not normally have space for a spare wheel.<br />

I haven't changed my wheels yet..
I was going to try tempe tyres but will go check out AGR tyres.
I definitely wont get too much for my wheels.
My OEM wheels are 16x7.5 with 42ET
Hopefully I can upgrade to 18x8.5

I got an XXXCELENT deal from him. Way Way Way down buying from MB. and its original. Compared to what I have to pay from MB, its miniscule. Code and manufacturer stamp on the inside. Its one of the supplier to AMG MB. I cannot recall the manufacturer but its one of the US company that makes expensive aftermarkets. You can actually find them here on this forum.

Wow, thats a big jump from 16 to 18. Just, imho, the extra stresses on the related components cos by default the car has been on 16x7.5

Just recently traded up to a set of C63 wheels. Have my 18" AMG's if you are interested. Fronts 8 x 18" (ET 50MM) and rears 8 x 8.5" (ET 54MM). The rear tyres are worn. Fronts are OK. Absolutely NO gutter rash. I'm in the Sutherland area. Drop me an email if you are interested.
