A2DP in glovebox

Hey guys, I was planning on buying the HotSpot Bluetooth receiver and connect it to my factory built AUX in the glovebox. But before I do, was wondering if anyone else had connected a A2DP device to the AUX in their glovebox with the lid closed and experienced whether the signal was blocked or OK? I know some devices won't work once the lid is closed because the signal is cut off, and some work fine. If you have experienced a problem, what device did you settle on? I plan to run a cable to the cigarette lighter to give it power, but would like to tap it to power source, not sure what wire would do so. The car is a mid-2003 (D2B) CL-500. I will be using the factory phone and voice functions with the Mercedes Bluetooth adapter separately. I just want the A2DP music streaming only for the glovebox. Any ideas or comments?

I am using the istream product (Bestbuy stocks) with 12 hrs listening time between charges. No power cable wiring required. USB charging cord can plug in to cig lighter when needed. Works great.

I bought the ViseeO from eBay. It's a bit pricey but it derives its power from the iPod interface and it interfaces with the cars system. Better interface with an iPhone/iPod than an Android. I have an Android and it still works great I just can't advance the song nor does it show the Song information on the dash display. Other than that it is awesome.

It turns on/off with the car and automatically syncs along with the phone and they both work independently.
