I just took delivery of a C220 the other day and absolutely love it - could not be happier. However I do have one irk - when locking the car with touch on handle - it doesn't allow me to check the car is locked - it simply unlocks again.

I know this is possible on a Lexus where it will allow you to pull the handle to ensure the lock is in place.

Can this be done on an MB?

besides stating the obvious, when the MB locks it locks, its not the 80's, they are reliable today, but I understand some people have habits. You can set the key on the front bumper and then check the doors.
