i have a 2003 E500 with factory blutooth option(donor car) I sync'd my phone and made a few calls to test. I removed the following and installed into a 2004 E55 and im having troubles getting it to work.

BT puck, cradle and BT module located in the trunk to the right of the Tele'aid module. Wiring was already in place.

I then followed the retrofit instructions in WIS using star to turn on teleaid and use the BT, however the teleaid was already switched to "PRESENT" so i switched it to not present than back to present.

My phone finds the puck without any issues but im unable to make any calls. Comand says "no phone installed" This style doesnt use fiber optic cable's so im assuming i dont need to modify the fiber optic ring via star.

So either there is a part im missing or procedure that needs to be done in star or otherwise. Please Help!!
